Where Did It Go?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHANA!

Wow, this past week just flew...where did it go? I've noticed w/summer Preston Lee & I have had a lot less "mommy & preston" time together. So I think when school starts back up we'll get focused on that again, I really miss it! We are having a wonderful summer though. We have spent LOTS of time w/Lisa and her kids, it's always LOTS of fun! We're always either running into Chadron for something, going to the pool, walking, biking, going to the park, cleaning the church, going to church, scrapbooking at home, scrapbooking at Lisa's or Becky's. And now I have started house cleaning for a couple people here in town, for a little extra cash :) So we definitely have a BUSY summer!
It was so funny today after church we came home & Tegan & I just felt drained so we decided a nap would be great! Well Preston Lee had other plans I guess! The entire first half-hour of trying to take a nap, Preston would literally beat me on the back hollering "momma, get up!" "ang, get up!" One morning this past week I told Preston to holler down stairs & tell Tegan to get up. And of course Preston did. But I think it's now backfiring on me!
This past Wednesday evening we went golfing with Lisa/Heath, Becky/Jeff, and their kids. Tegan went swimming, of course, but he's going the next time he says :) After golfing we all went to Staabs and had ice-cream. We had so much fun! I laughed so hard, so many times! Just watching the kids was such a joy in itself. Preston Lee just LOVES those kids, and the kids are so good w/Preston too! I can't wait to have a Family Golfing Night again soon!
The next morning, Thursday, Becky & I met up at the driving range and hit golf-balls together. That was so enjoyable, just a girl thing. :) I really think I could start enjoying golf on a regular basis....sooooo....I've asked Justin for a Driver for my Birthday so I can atleast practice my swing & hitting the ball :) I didn't ask for a set of clubs b/c I'm also wanting a Cricut (it's a scrapbooking thing) for my Birthday too! Who know's what I'll get, we'll see.
Scrapbooking has been GREAT! I now have my shelves up in the office, two 9 ft. long shelves! I also have a "home-made" desk/table to scrapbook on. The table is 8 ft. long & 3 ft. wide. I've bought some stain & plan on starting that project soon. Lisa helped me w/all this, bless her heart! If you could only see how funny we looked renting a hammer-drill & driving home this HUGE piece of wood! I'm not sure how it fit in her expedition, but it did, we were determined that it would! Thanks Lisa....You Are The Best!
