Catch-Up Time...

Catch-up time...hmmm....let's see, what have we been up to? Everything it seems like! Since I blogged last our women's Bible study group has started meeting again. We meet every Wednesday night at 7:00p.m. EVERYONE is invited!

I've had steroid injection in my feet since I blogged last. Yep! And yes it hurt! Some time back I began having pain in the "balls" of my feet while walking. It continued to get worse even after trying what felt like EVERY insert/pad/cushion/ace wrap on the market. I saw a foot Dr. in Rapid City. I have Sesamoiditis. He said if the injections didn't do the trick the next step would be surgery. And CRAP they still hurt! Not AS bad, but bad. I'm going to give it a little more time then get a second opinion to be safe.

Our Church has started "Family Dinner Groups" we have 3 different families in each group. We meet once a month at one of the families house. My group & I had our first dinner last weekend. It went really well. The purpose of the groups is to help give the opportunity to everyone (who chooses to do so) to get to know each other. The number in our Church continues to grow & I think this is an awesome way of visiting w/each other outside of church. After 3 months/dinners we all join a new group & so forth.

I won't say much about this subject but my sister's divorce is now final. The 29th was their court hearing. Everything went well.

I'm sooooo far behind on sending out Birthday cards. I'm so sorry everyone!! My best friend back home Michelle just had her 29th, and Preston's Granny (great grandma) just turned 75. Justin's Birthday is coming up on the 10th maybe I'll get him a card on time :)

I'm having a Scentsy Party (candle party) on the 17th @ 7p.m. If you can make it that would be great! There will be lots of Halloween treats to enjoy while smelling all the awesome candles.

Last night Preston & I went to Meagan's (the cute little blond girl that's in tons of pictures w/Preston) 3rd Birthday Party. Preston had a GREAT time. Preston has now decided he wants a baby doll like Meagan's. You can just imagine what Justin said when Preston told him that :)

Preston is still doing a fantastic job of going pee-pee on the potty. We're still working on "not" going in our "big-boy underwear" though. We're taking it slow...no pressure seems to work best in our house. I'm not sure if I've blogged about this or not but Preston Lee can now count to 5 in Spanish!! (watch the video) Yay Preston Lee!! The first night he counted to 3 in Spanish I just about fell off the kitchen chair. Seriously. English....not so good. We're only counting to 3 in English. HeHe! My boy is a genius...I love him so much! Every day he becomes more & more independent. Tonight after R.J. went home he asked why. I told Preston that R.J. had to go to school tomorrow. I was explaining to Preston that when he gets just a little bit bigger he'll get to go to school too. BUT if he wants he can stay home w/Mommy. Didn't work....he said "I'll go to school Mommy." Every night at bedtime we say the prayer "now I lay me down to sleep...." he just about has it memorized. Preston's went fishing w/Daddy a couple times during the past couple weeks & golfing too.

I now have 2 houses here in town that I clean once weekly.

Today Justin got home around 3 or 4 this morning then went back out this afternoon. Preston told Daddy to stay home! Preston & I went to Church this morning. We now have a Nursery at Church & I help with it. Today was my turn in the Nursery, I had Preston Lee, Elle, Landon & Cherrish. Wow! This evening Lisa & R.J. came over to visit. Lisa brought us some pizza....thanks Lisa! Preston & R.J. played w/his duck shooting game & practiced their duck calling. Silly boys.

Okay.....I think that catches me up on blogging! Whoo-hoo, Something else to check off my to-do list! And of course here are a few pictures of Preston that I've taken recently & a couple videos to share.
