A letter to Santa? Forget that! My son has it ALL figured out. The QUICKEST way to reach Santa, is to reach Jesus first! My heart smiles as I tell you all the sweetest little story about Preston.
Last night Justin and I were sitting in the living room watching t.v., Preston was in bed (his room is right off the living room). I thought for a second I heard Preston talking but then quickly realized his t.v. was on in his room. Once again, I heard him talking. So I called in to his room and asked him if he was talking. Preston hollers back to me "no Mom, I'm not talking" A few seconds go by, he's talking again! "Preston come here" "what Mom?" "Who are you talking to honey?" "I'm not talking Mom, I'm praying." (My heart melted!!!!!) I then asked him "What are you praying for Preston?" "I'm praying about Christmas" Justin then asked him "What about Christmas?" And Preston then tells us "I'm praying to Jesus to tell Santa to bring me Batman Lego's"
Wow! Preston is only a small child, but has already learned the quickest way to Santa is not a letter, but through Jesus Christ. What a humbling lesson from a four year old. Never again will I ask Preston to write a letter to Santa, it will always be a Christmas prayer to Jesus.
Thank you Preston Lee. I love you.

How sweet is that! Preston is just a little angel, I can just hear him saying that. Love you all
Happy Thanksgiving, miss you guys
Precious Preston!
OMG Angie! That is so awesome. I find it so amazing how little ones know when to talk to Jesus.. and are so comfortable in doing so! It seems like they do it when least expected. But I guess that's how we know we're doing our job and raising our children the best we know how! I'll pray that Preston gets his Lego's too! :)
