Today was my sister's Birthday! Tami turned 37! Wow...it doesn't seem all that long ago when we were both still living at home, she hated me, I hated her :) Gosh we were so mean to each other...just as most sisters are when they're five years apart, one in junior-high, the other in high school. Though I "thought" I hated her so much for being the older sister I still couldn't stand to see her be punished for anything....regardless if she deserved it or not. I can remember her being grounded to her room and I'd sneak her ice cream just to help make her feel better. I can also remember numerous times taking the blame for things just so my sister wouldn't get in trouble. Gee...what a good sister I was...and still am. :):) This is pretty funny....when Tami would have dates over (this was probably during her Sophmore/Junior yrs of highschool) she would pay me a dollar...yes, a whole dollar....to make her & her boyfriend iced tea, because she didn't know how. I kid you not! And to this day she probably still can't make a glass of iced tea! HeHe. She's not too good in the kitchen, but she doesn't claim to be either. :):) The kitchen is her least favorite room in any house. Maybe that's why she's still so freakin skinny.....who knows. Anyway....she's 37 and gorgeous. Tami is a WONDERFUL sister. I love her dearly. She's always been more than just a sister to me. She's my hero, my rock and my best friend. She's the reason I've came out of some pretty rough patches in my life. I cannot imagine life without her. I just pray that one day she sees in herself what I always see. I love my sister. Happy Birthday Sis.
