Wednesday....

Today was busy, busy for me & Preston. We started the day around 6:00 am, had breakfast....gave Preston a bath. I was standing at the sink washing dishes & Preston came over to me fussing saying doo. I asked him "Preston did you go Poo Poo"? He said "No, Doo Doo"! and pointed to his poop over in front of the kitchen window. (He was running around naked). I started clapping for him & telling him thanks for letting me know.....he got so excited he started clapping & saying Doo Doo. It was soooo cute. I love him so much! We've been checking out Potty Chairs online to see what all is out there......nothing beats the good ol' Elmo Potty Chair, according to Preston that is. So I think that's what we're getting ready to get him. For the last few weeks he's been coming to me & telling me when he has a wet diaper, he'll say pee pee...and grab his diaper. Maybe it's a phase, I don't know...he's only 16 months....but we're going to start trying the potty training thing & see what comes of it.

We went walking/jogging on a trail today over here by the house & went to the park. When it was time to leave Preston started crying b/c he didn't want to quit swinging. I put him in his stroller & told him that we'd come back & to tell the swing bye, bye. With tears rolling down his cheeks he looked back at the swing waiving to it saying bye, bye. (I could have cried)

Preston now knows what the letter B looks like. He points to it in his books. He's so smart! For those of you who don't know...Preston has been fasinated with the letter B for about 6 months. Every letter, every number has been a "B" to Preston. I'm excited that he now knows which letter is actually "B" :)
