A Great Day Yesterday...Even Better Day Today :)

As I was blogging about in the previous blog we had a VERY busy and funfilled day yesterday. Justin got home from work around 11am and we got ready and drove to Rapid City. When we asked Preston if he wanted to go he'd say city, city, city. Of course when we got there the first thing we had to do was EAT!! We ate at the Olive Garden....oh it was so yummy. I don't think I've ate Olive Garden since I was pregnant w/Preston Lee. We have Olive Garden back home....just didn't eat there a whole lot. In Springfield there were several choices for Italian and Zio's is probably one of the best! Anyhoo....so after we ate a late lunch we went to Hobby Lobby. I didn't find what I went in there for believe it or not. I thought Hobby Lobby had it all! But I did get to enjoy the 50% off of the scrapbooking stuff! Preston Lee & Daddy waited patiently for me...how sweet they both are. Then after Hobby Lobby we hit Toys-R-Us! Oh WOW....Preston Lee now cries for toys! This was a first! Preston Lee got two Valentines yesterday. I'm sure he'll have Mommy put pictures of them on her blog later when he get's to open them. He'll probably get his Valentines today b/c Daddy will probably have to go to work tonight. So after Toys-R-Us we hit the mall for a while. We found Carter (Preston's best buddy back home) a cute Birthday present at Sheels (sp?). Preston did not understand why he couldn't have it :( They had a really cool play center set up in the mall. Everything in it was made from some type of foam rubber. And the walls that went around it was also padded along with the floor. So kids were pretty safe in this play area. Preston played and played. There were several other kis playing too so Preston instead of playing on the equipment just chased all the kids. He had no idea if they even knew he was chasing them...but that didn't matter he was having a blast! After the Mall we headed home. Justin was extremely tired by this time!

Soooo....that was our busy funfilled day yesterday. How was yours? I hear there it LOTS of ice back home. Springfield LOVES ice. Springfieldians don't....but Springfield does. We usually get an icestorm every year. Last year in January it was so bad that over 30,000 families in Springfield alone were w/out power. Yeah...that bad! Justin was up working in Wyoming when that icestorm happened and Preston Lee and I were there in Springfield. We were fortunate...our power stayed on the entire time. My sister, Rob, and Tegan (my nephew) came & stayed w/me and Preston for almost a week. I thought it was fun though!!! But I did feel sorry for all the families w/out power. People were buying generators so fast that all the stores in Spfld that carried them ran out! It was a crazy icestorm. Oh...I have pictures of it I'm sure. I put a couple on here...so that you can see just what I'm talking about. :)

Well...I guess I'll close for now. I need to work on my Bible study book for tonight...I'm a little behind, imagine that ;)

TTFN and God Bless!

Wow, sounds like you had an awesome day! We ate at Olive Garden for the first time when we were up for the stock show. I loved it! We are just chilling at home. The elementry school is closed down today and tomorrow because of all the illness going around.

Hey, I'm glad all of you are feeling better!!! I wish we had a play area like that here when Chandler was little. Sounds like Preston had a fun time. The ice storm is crazy, driving around it looks just like last year. You would think most of the limbs would of been broke already. The telephone pole in front(side) of us fell down, so our land line isn't working. If you need to call Debbie has my and Chandler's cell numbers. We may be getting another round on Friday. I'm so ready for spring!!!
Stay warm and give Preston hugs and kisses from us!!!!
Love, Shanna
