What a great day it was here! The weather was absolutely beautiful. Daddy was home ALL day with us, which always makes the day extra nice. Early this afternoon while Preston took a nap, Justin & I worked together putting the dog kennel together. What a job!!!! I'm sure all the neighbors around us were watching out their windows laughing hysterically at us. And if they weren't...they were definitely missing out on some entertainment. It was pretty comical though, I do have to admit. Justin would say a pole went one way...I'd say no it goes this way. I'd tell Justin a clamp goes here...he'd say absolutely not, it goes here. It was a job, but we did it! I guess the true test comes when we put Riley & Katie in it. Knowing our luck one jump from those beasts & the whole kennel will come down! After Preston napped he had his friend Hayden over to play. Hayden is 3 y/o. The two of them played together really well today, I was proud of them. Hayden's Mom & Dad (Brooke & D.J.) owne the pharmacy here in town, they work a LOT of hours. So Justin & I decided to have them over for pizza once they got off work. They stayed for a couple of hours & visited. We had a great time, it's really nice getting to know more & more people here in Crawford on a personal level. When it was time for Hayden & his parents to leave, Preston Lee was so sad he almost cried, but he held back the tears, it was so sweet. We reminded Preston Lee that Hayden lives right across the street & they will play together again real soon. Oh yeah...after getting the kennel put up & before Brooke & D.J. came over, Justin went & played 9 holes of golf. He said he played really well. We had a busy day I guess! I love busy days. I love having friends/family over & entertaining. I can't wait for spring/summer to have cookouts & have everyone over. I'm already planning for Preston's second Birthday party, I just can't wait! I'm pretty sure we're going to have his party outside, cookout, all that fun stuff....if it's not too hot outside that is. It's only 3 months away, it will be here before we know it.
