Mommy's Awesome Little Guy :)

I am so proud of Preston Lee! Tonight will be 3 consecutive nights that he has slept (all night) in his own bed. I decided Friday evening that it was time for him to go to sleep w/out Mommy right beside him. I honestly can say it wasn't hard at all. The first night was the roughest of course, but diligence is paying off. I simply explained to Preston Lee that he was going to sleep in his own bed & if he got up he'd get a spanking. The first night he got out of his bed, while crying, once. And yes, he did get a spanking. Bless his little heart, or bottom. He cried even harder & started telling me his bottom hurt. I asked him why & he told me b/c I spanked him. I had to hold back the laughter & tears on that one. We brush our teeth together, read two books, say our prayer, kiss, hug, kiss, hug, then lights out, door stays open. And that's that! And the same goes for his afternoon naps. Preston, Mommy is so proud of you, I love you w/all my heart.

Preston & I didn't make it to church this morning. Shame on me I know. Around lunch time we headed in to Chadron & had Pizza Hut. Mmmm good. Preston kept asking where McDonald's was. After lunch we hit Wal-Mart then headed home. Preston took his nap & I put up the Christmas tree. I know it's a little early for some....but not for us :) I didn't get it decorated but all the lights are on. Fun, Fun.

One more week and Preston gets his cast off. Preston's been talking so much Spanish lately I can barely keep up w/him myself. The other day we were leaving the church & I told Preston "lets go" and he said "lets go, vamanos". I just laughed & told him how wonderful he was. He can now count to 10 in both English & Spanish. He now says thank you & you're welcome in Spanish. He's just a little sponge is all I can say.

Well I need to work on some eBay stuff then I'm off to bed. Night everyone.
