my THIRD five

Woo-Hoo....I've lost my third five, 15 pounds! Yippee!! That was my goal for Easter, it came a few days late, but I'm NOT complaining :) My next goal is to have another five off on Mother's Day. Thank You Lord. Last week I was able to start wearing a pair of khakis and a couple pair of jeans that I have not been able to wear in a REALLY long time. It feels so good.

Our Easter was wonderful. Justin & I took Preston to the community Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, went to Church on Sunday morning (Justin & Preston both wore a suit), then Lisa & the kids came over for lunch & some indoor egg hunting. Lisa and I made Taco Pizza and Enchilada soup....it was yummie. Thanks Marisa for the awesome recipes you gave to Lisa :) Monday was beautiful so Lisa & I went to the park with the kids & let them have another egg hunt. Lots of Fun!

Thursday before Easter, Justin and I took Preston Lee to Rapid City so that he could see the Easter Bunny @ the Mall. Oh My...after driving 2 hours to get there we find out the Easter Bunny went home sick. WHAT?? They were in the process of finding a replacement. They did find a replacement but he/she would not be at the mall for another 2 hours. WHAT?? So we let Preston play in the play area, went & had some dinner then we finally got to see the Bunny. It was worth the wait & drive I must say. Preston LOVED the Easter Bunny. We could barely get him away from the Easter Bunny. Preston was laying all over him/her, giving him/her high five, lying on the bench with his head on the Easter Bunny's lap. Oh my it was so cute. And of course I had "my" camera with me, even though we were there for pictures......hehe. As usual my pictures turned out just as well as the pictures we purchased :)

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you to everyone who sent Preston Easter gifts. Wow he received a ton!

Preston has been a little scoundral lately. I think the horrible 3's are sitting in. Here are a few of the things he's been saying to us lately:

• Whatever!


• Radical!


• Don't spank me, that hurts my feelings.


• I can't take a nap it hurts my belly.


• Fastforward please (thanks technology!)

I'm sure I'm forgetting several, but of course the sweet things they say make you forget the sassy comments :)

Preston LOVES to sing You Are My Sunshine to me and Daddy. The first time he sung to me I cried. Oh it's so sweet, I'm hoping to get that recorded. Oh, he also sung "his" first song to Justin and I over dinner here a couple of weeks ago. It goes like this "Pee Pee Doo Doo Whatcha Gonna Do? Pee Pee Doo Doo Whatcha Gonna Do?" Oh my little Preston Lee, you bring so much joy to our lives.
