How Long Has It Been?

Wow, it seems like forever since I've had the chance to come down here to the Library and blog. I cannot bring Preston Lee with me because I get NO blogging done, I end up chasing him around the Library! Therefore my chances to escape the house, without Preston Lee, are VERY far apart.

A quick update on Preston's bowels. He's doing great! He is "cleansed" and going doo doo on the "big" potty now. We are so proud of our little guy! The cure to his constipation problem was Lactulose Syrup. Why the Doctor did not prescribe that first, in place of that nasty Golytely Drink I will NEVER understand. What two year old, or even an adult, can drink a gallong of Golytely?!? Golytely is what a person drinks before having any type of Gastro procedures done. And let me tell ya, the stuff is nasty! The Lactulose Syrup was a very sugary syrup that we mixed in his milk and worked like a charm. Thank you all for the comments/concerns/prayers. And thank you Dr. Parris!

An update on Justin's job. It does not look good. Justin has no plans of going back to work this year, that's how bad it looks. But that's okay. We have made it through the past 6 months with the Lord's intervention and we know He will continue to see us through. Thank you everyone for all your prayers, they sure have helped.

**Shay, I'm very sorry to hear about Jim being lay ed off. We can truly empathize with you. You & Jim have been in my prayers. If you need anything just let me know, I'll do anything I can.

So much has happened since I last blogged. Preston is now riding his tricycle by himself. Last spring his legs were just a wee bit too short. As I mentioned above, he is now doo doo trained....yay! He's been pee pee trained for several months now, but he was still using a pull-up to go doo doo. Then we went through the whole bowel problem. But that is all behind us now, Preston Lee is officially potty trained, even through the night. We haven't had a pull-up in our house for over a week :) Preston is officially a registered Preschooler and I'm officially a very sad Mommy. Preston is already picking out his clothes, by himself, that he wants to wear to preschool. Some of the clothes are jammies, but hey...it's Crawford, that may fly? It's too cute, he'll put on a shir or jammies & come tell us "this is what I'm wearing to preschool".

Preston's Birthday Party! Preston's party is in process so please mark your calendars. It will be Saturday the 27th at 11am.
