Today was just a boring/lazy day for me and the kiddos. I just didn't have much getup-n-go today. I guess I should have had my coffee this morning. It NEVER holds Preston back though. He was dressed for turkey hunting today, after roller skating that is. He came inside and told me he was going turkey hunting, had to get dressed. So he gets his camo gear on (and I'm surprised he didn't put his face paint on), gets his gun (play gun of course) and tells me he can't go yet. I asked him why and he said "I have to wait for Uncle Rob." Ahhhh how sweet he is. Well he didn't wait for Uncle Rob too long, out the door he went and turkey hunting he did all the way out in the yard, for most of the day! He didn't bring a turkey in, but lots of rocks. Maybe next time Preston ;)
Addison had a Physical Therapy appointment yesterday. It went well. Her Pediatrician advised we see a PT for her, just to help her along with rolling and sitting up without assistance. Yes, she is a preemie, but sometimes our little preemies need some extra help along the way even once they're home. It was a good experience, Addison cooperated well, and I got some good pointers. The PT said Addison's physical development is between 3-4 months.
Here are a few August pictures:
Addison watching tv with brother. Brother couldn't walk
because he had 3 shots that day :(

Wanna go? Turkey hunting? Of course Daddy!!

It's "Peter Parker"

Angie, its been a long time and I haven't seen Addi outside of her little car seat. My busy time is OVER today and I can't wait to catch up with everyone. God opened my eyes yesterday and I am going to be doing some soul searching and spending time with people I love. Have a fun time on your trip and the kiddos a love from me.
I love the turkey hunting escapade. It reminds me of my son and makes me chuckle - thanks!
Often preemies need a litte extra help to "get them up to speed." PT can make a huge difference for these little ones. Glad to hear Addison had the opportunity to get some pointers.
