Let's Catch Up!

Let's catch up, here we go.....I'm sure all of you know my sister is back home now & Tegan is staying most of the summer w/us. Tegan has been having the time of his life. He really likes our "little" town. Tegan has made several friends, he's been going to Youth Group on Wed., and Thurs. nights. He's also been a great help around the house w/taking the trash out, helping watch over Preston, picking up things that I put up then Preston drags right back out....Thanks Tegan! And when he's not home, you can always find him at the Pool.

We had a good 4th of July. Justin was home w/us. We went to the Rodeo here in Mayberry on Thursday & Friday night. 4th of July morning we went to the Parade, it was excellent. I was very impressed w/all the decorative floats, tractors, horses, and more tractors! :) Preston loved the parade! He was thrown more candy than we would allow him to take home, so he shared w/a little boy just down from us. You're a great sport Preston Lee! After the parade we all went home took a nice long nap. In the afternoon we walked down to the park to enjoy all the festivities. The band was awesome! After about an hour or so at the park we headed home....it was just too hot for us, I'm sure it was in the mid to upper 90's. That night we went to the rodeo, then enjoyed the Fireworks Show afterwards.

Preston absolutely LOVES 4th of July!!! He was afraid of NOTHING! As firecrackers went off he would yell "boom, boom, boom"....."more, more, more". I was worried w/him being so little that the loud sounds of them all would scare him to death, not my child....he still has NO fear!

Monday was my appointment w/the Doctor. The news was not good, or should I say, not what I was hoping for. I did pray for God's will & I know that's how my prayer was answered. The pregnancy was nonviable. So Tuesday morning we had to drive back to Scottsbluff for a D&C. We got to the hospital around 8:30, and was home by 7:00. I feel fine today, just taking it easy, sort of :) that's REALLY hard for me to do! :) Justin's been great, very helpful & considerate. The Doctor did inform us that we can start trying to conceive again after I've had my next cycle. I guess we will just have to see when & how all that works out. Thank you all for your prayers & concerns! My sister sent me the nicest card....I love her so much. Shana also sent me a card....pretty funny! Thanks Shana! Lisa, thank you so much for watching Preston Lee & letting Tegan hang out while I was at the hospital. You are a wonderful friend!

Justin, Preston, and Tegan drove into Chadron, so right now I'm home all by myself. And yes it's NICE!!

Here's a few pictures from the last month. I only took a few pictures on the 4th, wish I would have taken more. I guess my mind was elsewhere. Oh-well, that's the past now & I'm good to go again!

Preston was scheduled for his 2 year pictures on Tuesday, but I had to cancel them b/c of my outpatient thingy....soooo....I'll get those rescheduled real soon & post them as soon as I get 'em, k! Love you guys & Thanks again for all the prayers!
