my SECOND five

Woo-Hoo...I've lost my second five pounds! That's right, I've lost 11 lbs. & VERY, VERY, VERY excited & thankful!! Yesterday at church I had 2 people tell me I looked like I was losing weight....yay, I love to hear those words, ah such sweet words :) Thank you Lord. I've been working at this challenge for only 7 weeks, I can't wait to see the loss the next 7 weeks bring. I can't say it's been EASY but it definitely hasn't been HARD either. I'm learning diligence pays off, and prayer conquers all. I'm hoping to post "my THIRD five" by Easter, please keep me in your prayers.

****Very important info here....WE HAVE SHUT OUR INTERNET OFF. Justin is still not working as you all know & I'm cleaning houses on the side & waiting for the Fort to kick off so I can work out there this summer. Our funds are pretty tight right now & we're cutting back were we can, and Internet service is definitely a bill we can live without, since we do have wireless Internet here at the Library. Soooo if you need to get a message to me please call me or just know that it may be a week or so before I actually get your email. I plan to come down to the Library at least once weekly, but you never know, could be less could be more. I will continue to blog, though it will not be as often of course :)

The weather we had this last week was just gorgeous. We enjoyed being outside, playing in creeks, making mud pies, playing fetch with the dogs & walking. Today is a different story...snow, snow, snow. But hey, we have to have precipitation one way or another, right? I prefer snow over rain/ice in the winter :)

We hope you're all doing well & remember to enjoy the snow, rain, ice, sunshine, whatever weather you may be having right now :)

I totally getcha about the internet. We've been having that same debate, but can't decide if we should. We continue to pray for all those afflicted by the furloughs imposed by BN. Hopefully things will swing back into action here very soon, and things can get back to normal (if there is such a thing...!)

I am so proud of you for sticking with it and losing that second 5. THAT WAS FAST!! Celebrations are in order!!

I don't think you'll have any problem meeting that Easter deadline. I know you can do it!

Carter says thanks for the birthday wishes! and he didn't need anything else anyway, so don't worry bout not mailing anything:) Congrats on the next 5 lbs. I'm so proud of you! (seems like the more you lose, the more I gain hehe)
I hope the furloughs end really soon too. Clayton said something today about thinking Springfield was going to start adding to the boards again soon, but about 90% of the time what he thinks and what really happens are two TOTALLY different things.
Hope you have a good week, and I look forward to your blog next week :)
