Justin started catching the bug Monday, then while in Scottsbluff on Tuesday he just continued to get worse & grumpier :) He's been in bed since Tuesday evening, and only comes out of the bedroom with permission :) Thursday morning at 3 am Preston woke up with a 103 fever, coughing, and very scared. It took Justin & I forever to get Tylenol & Motrin down him, he was so scared. As of today, Friday noonish, both boys are STILL VERY SICK. Preston consistently runs a fever of 101 to 103, sore throat, and cough. Justin has the 101 fever, muscle soreness, chills, aches, and cough. I have called the clinic & they say STAY HOME!!! The clinics only want to see you if you are having trouble breathing, or cannot move. They are not putting anyone on Tamiflu b/c they do not want this H1N1 strain to become resistant. Makes sense to me, just tough to live with.
Yesterday I started having a sore throat, fever & soreness in my chest. I've been taking Tylenol & Sudafed & I'm not getting worse, just not getting better. Anytime I get sick I always end up with an Upper Respiratory Infection. So glad Dr. Painter gave me the H1N1 immunization. I'm constantly running around the house trying to keep things wiped down with Chlorox, coaxing Preston to take tylenol/ibuprofen, checking in on Justin, covering the boys back up with blankets, taking nasty kleenex's out of Justin's room, keeping Justin medicated, hydrated & soup in him. Oh, and keeping linens's washed and on the beds, making sure Toy Story is STILL playing for Preston, trying to get Preston to take sips of water here & there. Jeez...what else, oh yeah...yesterday I went to Chadron to stock up on groceries, and cold medicine. I HAVE been making time for a shower, hehe :)
I have had the chance to do some online Christmas shoppping for Preston. So glad I have too, b/c I'm already seeing a lot of Toy Story stuff hard to get at a reasonable price.
I know so many are sick right now & I've been praying for everyone. Please say a prayer for our lil' household too, thanks so much.

I am praying for you guys! We have yet to get the crud but I fear when school starts back up, we will end up with it. I might keep Jaxon out to get us through Halloween, and to keep his little brother healthy, of course! Btw, this is Brandi...I am too lazy to log Shane off and log myself back in! =)
oh man, that really stinks! I hope everyone starts feeling better soon. Glad you were able to get the vax, we haven't gotten it yet so I'm keeping myself and the kids held up in the house. If clayton brings it home I'll whoop him! lol
