Praise God for the Bagley's! Cherish (their youngest) was tested for Turner's Syndrome yesterday in Lincoln NE and the results were negative, NO Turners Syndrome. So many of us were praying for the Bagley's, thank you Lord again.
Today we had our second appointment with Dr. Painter (our OB dr.) and everything went great. Thank you Lord. We are now 14 weeks along, time to start letting the wee lil' one listen to Mozart (yes I did the same thing while pregnant with Preston). I was a little concerned about getting to our appointment on time though. We left the house this morning early enough to go by the bank & fill up with gas. Sure enough we ran into some problems at the bank, throwing us behind by about 10 minutes. No biggie, so we thought. As we're heading out of town we begin driving into fog so thick we could barely see the end of the hood of the truck. And it didn't get much better as we continued driving, we then get behind a semi-truck. Realizing we are going to be late to our appointment I pick up my cell phone & try calling Brandi to get Dr. Painter's phone number. NO CELL PHONE SERVICE...imagine that! So finally about 10 minutes out I get ahold of Brandi, call Dr. Painter's office & they tell me to come on in, not knowing if they can see us or not. Thank God AGAIN, Dr. Painter worked us in & we got to hear our little Angel's heartbeat for the 1st time. The sound was quite precious. Preston was excited to hear it, but didn't think it sounded much like a heartbeat. Understandable, it did sound more like a swish-swish :) We have a appointment Nov. 17th, then Dec. 15th we will find out if our lil' Angel is a boy or girl.....yay, I'm so excited! I'm so ready to start working/decorating the room.
Right now my son is running around the house jumping off everything he can climb on pretending to be Buzz Lightyear. He has loved Toy Story since summer '08. That was his first time watching the movie's. He is now a fanatic! So glad that it's became popular again.
Say a little prayer for Justin, he's caught the crud. We sure hope it's nothing significant.
I suppose I should get Buzz Lightyear to bed..........To Infinity And Beyond!!!

YEA for the precious sound of a heartbeat.... we are so happy for you guys... Meggis is missing Mr. P. But worried about you getting something from us. SO, we will steer clear for a bit yet, K?
Hugs, Us!
So glad you were still able to see Dr. Painter! Isn't she awesome?!?! Getting to hear the heartbeat for the first time, or anytime, is the sweetest sound. You are making me want to be pregnant again! EEEEK!
