*****Update "from" lil' Addi: The docs/nurses are working on transferring me to Scottsbluff this week! Yay! I'm not sure why I'm so excited, but Mommy seems to be, so I guess I'm excited too! Mommy says I'll be closer to home (wherever that is) and closer to my big brother Preston (that's what I'm looking forward to). I feel great, though I was completely exhausted today. I just couldn't sleep enough after my busy evening with Mommy yesterday. Did she tell you guys about our evening yet? Oh wow, let me....I latched on! Yep, I did it! I took Mommy by surprise, she wasn't expecting it at all. But darn it there really wasn't anything in it for me to eat, what's up with that? Mommy said she had already pumped, whatever that means, so there wasn't anything left for me to get out of her fridge. I'm going to keep trying though because the docs say it will just help us get home sooner.
I am now eating (if you want to call it that) a full ounce through my NG (nasogastric) tube. A whole ounce! I eat that every 3 hours. And I'm gaining weight like crazy, I now weigh 3lbs, 8.7oz. Pretty soon I'll be big enough to wrestle my brother :)
I no longer have a Central IV line, I'm off antibiotics, and off caffeine (which I kinda miss :) I am on very little oxygen, almost at room air.
The docs say in order for me to go home I'll need to:
1. Maintain my own body temperature without the incubator/isolette.
2. Feed from a bottle/breast.
3. Off the oxygen.
Mommy says I probably have approximately another 3-4 weeks to go before going home. This Friday I will be 3 weeks old (34 weeks gestation).
Thanks everyone for all your prayers/phone calls/texts and donations, they have really blessed my Mommy & Daddy. And thanks MiMa & PaPa for taking care of my big brother ;)

WTG Addison! You are making me very proud! Carter wants to "Go see angie? Go see baby?" everyday. Sorry about the loss of caffeine. You should talk your momma into drinking more coffee so your milk is spiked with it ;)
I can't wait for you to meet your big brother! I hope you continue to do such a great job of growing and getting bigger. Tons of prayers coming your way!

Oh Addi... we are so happy that you are growing and getting off all those nasty tubes! We can't wait to meet you! You have so many people praying for you and waiting to see you home with your brother!

Addi - I love how your Mommie writes about your fridg; we are all praying for you and your Mom to be able to come to Scottsbluff soon; your feet are awesome!!
Addi!!! WOW! You are really growing fast!! So glad you are making such good progress and getting rid of those tubes and stuff. We are excited for you to be in Scottsbluff, so your big brother can see you a little more, too! I'm sure this waiting has been hard on him, too.
We're so proud of you and your Mommy and Daddy, and can't wait to see you getting closer to being at home!
