A post a week?

I know I feel the same as many others do, there's just not enough time in a day...and if there ever is, I'M TOO TIRED! So my goal is to at least blog weekly, surely I can muster up enough time & energy to do that. Much has happened in our lives in the past year and I have recorded so little of it on blogger. If Addison ever reads my blog someday she's definitely going to feel she was a little neglected on blogger :) I have also got to get back into the routine of printing my blog. I can do it!

Before I forget, I have to tell ya about our dinner at Pizza Hut a few nights ago. The waitress brings four saucers to the table. Preston takes the saucers and starts passing them out to us. He stops and says "Why did she give us four plates, Addison can't eat pizza. I guess it's for Jesus." How sweet is that? I know the Lord had to be smiling too just as Justin and I were.

Addison Myrna-Jane is now crawling. She "seal" crawled for about a week or so, then off she went. She crawled for a couple days, then in ONE day figured out how to pull herself up on her knees, how to pull herself up to her feet, and how to go from crawling to sitting on her bottom. The next day she took a 3 hour nap....I guess she wore her little self out. She is a VERY busy girl, and she loves to play. I will be surprised if she isn't walking in the next month. She is already taking steps when holding on to furniture. She says Momma all the time, I just love it! Her favorite room in the house is Preston's bedroom. And Preston is such a great brother, for the most part he lets Addison in his room any time and lets her play/chew on whatever she wants. Preston's room is very organized and now that Addison has taken a liking to the room, Preston helps keep all the "small" toys picked up.

Preston is enjoying Preschool and continues to learn at a speed I can hardly keep up with. I am so proud of Preston for the interest he has in writing. Last week him and I were drawing, I was drawing a triangle and he says "that triangle looks like Auntie's letter". The triangle looked similar to the letter A, which is the letter his Auntie starts with :) When we wrote out thank you cards for Christmas gifts, Preston had to "write" the thank you's and sign his name.

I cannot believe that another Christmas has came and gone. This was Preston's 5th Christmas and Addison's 1st. We had a blessed Christmas, though we did miss our family very much. This was the first year since living in NE that we didn't get to be with any of our family. I do believe that Preston was dissapointed that he didn't get to see and visit with "daddy" Santa this year. The past two years Justin has dressed up as Santa, delivered the presents and spent some time visiting with Preston. Last year we realized that Preston was figuring it all out when he says to Santa/Justin "Daddy, why do you have on that Santa suit?" Oh that was so funny, and we do have it recorded on video :) So this year Justin decided not to dress up as Santa. But I think next year he has no choice!

Here are just a few pics from Christmas.....Enjoy and God bless :)
