The Clamors.....Our Life in Nebraska: Busy Me...Busy Us!!!

Poor Justin, he got home today from work around 1 this afternoon. Slept off & on from about 2 to 4:30. He was up at 5 spending the evening with us. He didn't go back to bed until 9:30, then got a call for work at 11. Geeeze! As Justin was leaving for work I was rocking Preston Lee back to sleep, Justin gave Preston a kiss bye-bye, Preston looked up at him & said "Daddy go golf-course?" Justin told him no, he had to go back to the railroad. Preston said "night Daddy". When Justin is not home Preston already knows that Daddy is either at the railroad or at the golf course. How sweet is that!

Yesterday I had 7 kids in my house. Yes you read it right....7! All day too! But it was great! Becky & Lisa and their hubbies went to Cheyenne Wyoming to a Rascal Flatt's concert. So being the awesome friend I am, I watched the kids :) The morning started out w/fixing French Toast for the ones who wanted it. Andy of course did.....he's a good little eater! I fixed him two slices, and before I could even think about fixing any more he was asking for 2 more slices! I have no idea where the little guy put 4 slices of French Toast!! Before we ate lunch I asked Meggie to wash her hands in the bathroom. She did, with my Proactive Acne Soap!!! LOLOL!! Let's see.....what else happened....hmmmm.....of course they argued back and forth all day about who's turn it was to play Guitar Hero or Spider Man. Matt wanted to listen to the Naked Brothers Band c.d. he brought w/him, no one else wanted to! After lunch we all headed down to the pool, that was a nice little break for us all :) Overall the day went REALLY well, I really enjoyed it & I think the kids did too.....I know Preston Lee did anyway!

Today I stayed home, got caught up on laundry, ironing, house cleaning....all that fun stuff. Preston & I still found time to go outside & enjoy the sun ;) Tegan & Sydney found their way to the pool.....of course! Tomorrow Tegan is going on a Youth Group outing....that will be fun for him.
